DESCRIPTION
Throughout the process of the Service Learning, I got the opportunity to experience conducting a talk event about our chosen topic which is the Mediation: Landlord and Tenant Dispute. We divided the process of the Service Learning into three stages which is the Pre-Event stage, The Day stage and Post Event stage. At the first stage which is the Pre-Event stage, all of us has conduct a meet up through the online conferencing which is through the Zoom platform to discuss the preparation for our event as well as to distributes tasks so that everyone can participate and contribute their efforts and ideas in ensuring the success of conducting the event. Even though during the preparation stage, we faced some difficulties in reaching a final decision due to different opinions of among the team mate, we managed to solve the differences in a best possible ways which satisfies all of the parties. Apart from a good communication between the team members, I think one of the major factor contributed to the success of our event is that every one of us has performed the assigned duties diligently and willing to help the other if that person facing difficulties to carry out her or his duty. For instance, during the task distribution, I was assigned to be in the technical team where I am supposed to handle the technical matter such as creating the video conferencing link and records the events. However, due to the unstable internet connection at the place where I am staying, the other team mates willing to take over my duties for the technical team for the event. At ‘The Day Event, event though only two members are virtually present at the event, the other were prepared just in case problems arise during the event. Lastly, for the Post-Event stage, we have conducted a survey to study the effectiveness of the topic discussed in the event to the audience.
FEELINGS
I felt very satisfied and with the outcomes of our events that we have conducted since based on the survey we have conducted, most of the audience gave a very positive feedbacks as to the effectiveness and relevancy of the topic being discussed in the event. Other than that, I also felt very thankful to my group members for their tolerance and understanding throughout the process of conducting the service learning because without each person contribution, we surely will be facing difficulties to complete this task.
Lastly, the service learning also has give me chances and opportunity to learn more about the mediation especially in the landlord and tenant disputes which very relevant and useful for me. It also enhanced my confidence as well as my soft skills especially in term of communication with my other team mates. The knowledge and experience that I gained throughout the service learning will never be forgotten!
EVALUATION & ANALYSIS
During the process of conducting the service learning, I manage to identify few of my strengths and weaknesses. One of the traits that I find it as my strength is that I am very optimist and helpful person. I am willing to help my other group members especially when editing the contents of our website. To be honest, during the process of editing the website, I find myself enjoying the activity and I find it as very fun to explore all of the features provided in the website. Apart from that, I also find myself as a positive person as I took every problems or mistakes occurred during the process as something that we can learnt and improve in the future. As regard for my weaknesses, I found it very hard for me to be able to contribute in terms of technicalities especially in terms of the internet connection since I am staying at the rural area and the internet connection was often not stable. Due to that reason, it somehow limits my ability to communicate with my team members virtually.

In my opinion the service learning has gave me the opportunity to experienced conducting an event myself starting from the preparation until the post event stage which was quite an experience for myself. Besides the events benefiting the audience, I can somehow have a better understanding and views on how the mediation really functions and can be used as an alternative for dispute resolution especially in the topic being discussed in our event which is in the landlord and tenant dispute. This service learning will surely enhance my potential in terms of my leadership skills and softs skills since this activity allowed me to communicate and sometimes guide them on certain matter in which I have a better knowledge or experience in it. During the service learning also, I learnt that when a problems arise, all of my team mate will sit virtually, discussed and try to come out with the best possible solution that will satisfies each of the team mates. By that way, each problems can be solves ideally.
ACTION PLAN
In conclusion, through this service learning, I have learnt on how to create a website and conduct an event virtually by taking into considerations all of the positive or negative factors that might affect our event and service learning. I believed that all of the mistakes or lacking that exists during the service learning process can be used by each of the team members as something that can be improved in the future. Even though, this time we had no choice but to conduct the event virtually though the Zoom platgom, if I was given the opportunity to conducts similar events in the near future, it can be held not virtually but face to face so that it will become more effective and interactive not only for the audience but also for us.
